ZXWSOFT PCB Repair Query Software
1.1 Feature List (Basic)
This software uses MDI TAB dual-window display to show both sides of the PCB, or a single-window double-sided display. The overall features include: board outline, pads, component designators, and after clicking a pad with the mouse, the corresponding connected pads are highlighted. The new version adds more powerful features on top of these basic functions, centered around PCB repair applications.
The core upgrade of version 4.0 is the independently developed schematic display and a tighter interconnection with the point map.
1. Pad point connection relationships
2. Full-board component physical photos (with simulated component removal operation)
3. Traces between surface and inner layers (change color with net highlighting, and can be shown separately)
4. Component parameters and functional attributes (BOM info or resistance values, etc.)
5. Repair notes for each component and pad (i.e., fault repair annotations)
6. Component and pad location query (and component BOM attribute query)
7. Net name and net Chinese annotation list query
8. Custom note info for components, pads, and nets
9. One-click display of all empty pins and ground (GND)
10. Intuitive display of resistors, capacitors, and diodes
11. Zoom in/out function
12. Custom display color scheme
13. Full-board rotation
14. Multi-layer component display (multi-layer display of composite components)
15. Repair solution query
16. Polling of highlighted net pad positions, etc.
17. Show only highlighted net components
18. Multi-net component cross tool
19. Copper pour display for each PCB layer
20. Can run under Windows in various virtual machines (e.g., VMware)
21. For other features, please refer to the menu and toolbar function annotations
22. For more features, please download and use the software to explore
1.2 Operating Environment
Can run under Windows in various virtual machines (e.g., VMware). ZXWSOFT 4.0 will not work on Windows XP; please upgrade to Win10 or Win11.
2 Software User Manual
2.1 Software Download
1. Download: Enter https://www.zxwtools.com/en/ in the EDGE or Google browser address bar to enter the ZXWTEAM website, then click Software Download.

Select a suitable cloud drive to download.
2. Extract: After downloading the ZXWSOFT software archive. It is not recommended to place extracted files on the desktop.

3. Run the ZXWSoft4.0.exe main file in the extracted folder.

If the antivirus software prompts that ZXWSOFT is a virus during extraction or running, you must immediately choose to trust it permanently. Otherwise, after the countdown, the ZXWSOFT process may be added to the blacklist and cannot run until this PC system is reinstalled. Keep this in mind!
Manually set the ZXWSOFT software as a trusted, non-intercepted program in 360 (other types of firewall/antivirus software can be referenced similarly)

Click Protection Center at the bottom left, then click Trust & Block at the top right of the popup form

In the new window, select below -- Add other programs and files to the trust list

Select the ZXWSOFT4.0 main program under the ZXWSOFT path and add it to the trust list. This reduces 360's interception, tampering, and deletion of the ZXWSOFT software.

2.2 Registration & Login
Users with an account and password can log in directly. Users opening the software for the first time need to register an account.

Register quickly by following the process. You can also enter password protection information to be used as a credential for recovering a forgotten password; this information must be firmly remembered. You can bind WeChat, and after logging in via WeChat scan, you can quickly view account info and quickly change your password.
This software uses encrypted data for user passwords; the password set by the user cannot be queried on the backend. For a forgotten password without password protection info entered or WeChat bound, ZXWTEAM cannot recover the password. You can only register a new account and purchase the corresponding usage time card to bind.
After registering an account, you can log in to the software with the registered account and password.

2.3 Software Settings
After logging in, you can set the software's style, language, and lines.

2.4 Software Renewal
Log in with your account to use. Without a top-up, you can open files that don't require payment. If you need to use paid files, click Renewal Payment in the account info at the top left, or Software Renewal in the top toolbar. For renewal, you can directly click to pay through the ZXWTEAM software payment platform. After payment, it is automatically activated within 5 minutes without manual intervention.

Other notes:
After selecting a pad in the point map, fill in the related custom parameters, enter a title name, then save to server; the filled-in parameters can then be displayed directly on the pad. "Save to Server*" shown in red indicates the data has changed and needs to be saved to prevent data loss.
Click a filled-in data item to automatically locate the related component or pad in the point map
Pads and nets can add numeric or text type parameters; components can only add note type.
On the right toolbar, you can choose to display parameters of different options
